Be Careful What You Wish For Chapter 3
They have come to destroy you.
I couldn't believe what I heard but, at the same time, I knew he wasn't lying. Apparently, everyone else felt the same way because no one disagreed with him. Maybe it was because he was dying, and we knew he was trying to warn us of something terrible.
They are called Yeerks. They are different from us. Different from you, as well.
"Are you telling us they're already here on Earth?" Rachel demanded.
Many are here. Hundreds. Maybe more.
"Why hasn't anybody noticed them?" Marco said reasonably. "I think someone would have mentioned it at school."
"Maybe it's because they're shape shifters, or they have cloaking technology," I said, all sorts of ideas running through my head. "Or maybe it's plant life that kills the original human while replacing him or her with a double. Like Invasion of the Body Snatchers."
"You watch too many movies," Marco remarked.

Looking back on everything, I suppose it was inevitable. They were just children, the six of them. They could only be expected to hold out for so long.
And those of us who knew anything about this war did nothing. They fought for over a year, but were eventually captured, taken down. Infested, like the rest of the world.
My father…did nothing. Never dreamed that they were here. That on this small, somewhat backwards planet we were not safe. He realized soon enough when the ships began descending from the skies. When clear blue turned to a boiling red. No human understood what was going on, but my father, who had given up his entire life to wed his alien wife, understood it completely.
I remember him waking my mother and myself, dragging us to the small ship he had stashed away somewhere, in case he ever needed to escape. We tried to leave before the legless bugs descended on the Earth, but our ship was struck down. It spiraled out of control. My mother was im
-Secret Identity-As Iffrim and Alice broke away from the other animorphs and headed out towards the cold night, Iffrim mused about their situation. Surely, no one else in this universe had been in the same situation as they. They who were from the future, an abandoned future, were walking and living in their past. A past that existed to no one else but to them, Crayak and The Elimist.
The others who found themselves in this war, regardless of which side and freedom, lived double lives, but Iffrim and Alice, oh how strange and different they were.
To the Animorphs there was no Iffrim, only Alice.
To the Yeerks, Alice was another empty face, Iffrim was all that existed and even then he was just another Yeerk, another number, another foot solider.
As much as Alice and Iffrim disliked each other, they had to admit and adapt to the fact that they were the only two in this particular boat.
Even if she were to tell the Animorphs and Iffrim disposed of, did she have the strength to fight on? She may have agree
Be Careful What You Wish For Chapter 1
My name is Karen. I can't tell you my last name, or any of my friends' last names, where I live, or any of that. What I can tell you is that there's a secret invasion. I'm not talking about little green men from Mars with ray guns. I'm talking about Invasion of the Body Snatchers, the one with Jeff Goldblum and Leonard Nimoy. Except these aliens don't exactly create doubles, and they replicate your behavior perfectly. If I tell you anything more than the bare minimum, there is a great chance that they'll find me and my friends, something none of us want to risk. These invaders do have an enemy, but it will be awhile before they'll arrive. Until then, we'll have to do everything we can to stop the invaders or, at least, slow them down.
I was with Rachel and Cassie at the mall, shopping for clothes. I'm not much into clothes shopping and neither is Cassie but Rachel, Miss Fashionista, loved it. She picked out different outfits for me, Cassie and herself, trying them on or having us try t
